Warranty & Aftercare Information
We want every machine you buy to give you peace of mind and perform reliably, so you can focus on making great coffee.
The Basics
All equipment supplied by Storm Coffee Supplies includes a manufacturer-backed warranty. Coverage length and terms vary by brand and product, but most commercial machines include a 12-month parts warranty as standard, while domestic equipment is typically covered by a back-to-base warranty.
Warranty cover starts from the purchase date and applies to non-consumable components only. Details for each product can be found on the product page or in the manufacturer documentation.
What Is Included as Standard
With most commercial machines, you will receive:
-
12-month manufacturer-backed parts warranty
-
Free delivery and professional installation
-
Free on-site basic training
-
Complimentary coffee beans
Call-outs, labour, servicing, fault diagnosis, and remote technical support are not included unless stated.
Some machines also include labour warranties or service agreements. These may cover engineer visits, labour, ongoing maintenance, and technical support. Please check the product details for confirmation.
Installation
Commercial equipment must be installed by a certified engineer to remain under warranty. We provide free professional installation on most commercial machines across the UK.
Self-installation of commercial equipment will typically void the warranty. In some cases, cover may still be possible following an approved inspection - speak to us before use if this applies.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Water Care
Daily cleaning is essential for safe operation, consistent performance, and warranty compliance. Manufacturers also specify weekly or monthly cleaning routines, which should always be followed.
You are responsible for routine maintenance and servicing, including preventing limescale build-up with appropriate water filtration. Limescale damage is not covered under warranty.
What Is Covered
Warranties typically cover major non-serviceable components, such as:
-
Boilers and group heads
-
Pumps and motors
-
Electronics (excluding water damage)
-
Internal pipework and fittings
What Is Not Covered
Consumable and serviceable parts are excluded, including items such as:
-
Shower screens and seals
-
Gaskets and valve components
-
Heating elements and pump heads
General wear and tear, misuse, missed servicing, unauthorised repairs, and modifications are also excluded.
Back to Base vs On-Site Warranties
Smaller items, such as grinders, often come with back-to-base warranties, meaning the equipment must be returned to a service centre for repair.
Larger commercial machines are usually supported by on-site warranties (if your machine package includes a service contract or labour warranty), where approved engineers attend your premises. Coverage varies by product, so always check the warranty details.
Domestic vs Commercial Equipment
Domestic machines are designed for home use only. Using domestic equipment in a commercial setting will normally void the warranty.
Commercial machines are built for higher workloads and professional environments and require regular cleaning, servicing, and correct water treatment to stay covered.
If you are unsure which equipment is right for your space, please get in touch and we will happily advise.
Your Rights
Nothing above affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Please note business-to-business (B2B) sales are not covered under UK consumer law in the same way as consumer purchases.
