The Code.194 range now features seven distinctive coffees, each offering unique flavour profiles, processing methods, and origins - allowing every coffee drinker to find something to suit their taste.
1. .194 Espresso
A signature blend that captures the essence of a classic espresso. Rich and balanced, it typically reveals tasting notes of 70% cocoa and hints of toffee and milk chocolate. This blend is perfect for espresso purists seeking depth and indulgence, but also works remarkably well in milk drinks!
2. Guatemala
Originating solely from Guatemala, this single-origin coffee often boasts ripe citrus or candied citrus notes, bringing a bright and juicy character to every cup. Clean yet lively, ideal for those who favour fruity complexity and a refreshing finish. This blend is great with milk drinks, as it has a hint of cocoa milk chocolate.
3. Colombia El Buho EA Decaf
A decaffeinated Colombian coffee crafted using the Ethyl Acetate (EA) process. Expect subtle notes of toffee, caramel, and even milk chocolate - a flavourful option for those avoiding caffeine but still yearning for a complete coffee experience.
4. Brazil Tropical Bahia – Natural
Tropical Bahia coffee is produced in the highest elevations of Bahia, where unique conditions and careful processing result in a cup profile rich in vibrant, fruity sweetness. A brief fermentation during transport to the neighbouring Caatinga biome enhances flavour, producing a smooth and balanced cup.
5. Papua New Guinea Arufa Natural
Arufa Natural coffee is the result of a strong commitment to producing high-quality cherries, combined with Monpi’s expertise in natural processing. The cherries are carefully hand-picked and delivered to the Kindeng wet mill, where only the finest lots are selected. Sun-dried whole for around a month, then processed and cleaned, this meticulous approach gives the coffee its distinctive character.
6. Ethiopia Worka Sakaro – Anaerobic Natural
This Grade 1 microlot comes from the Worka Sakaro washing station in Worka village, within the Gedeb district. The coffee is naturally processed and undergoes an extended 72-hour (three-day) anaerobic fermentation, with whole cherries sealed in vacuum bags. This carefully controlled process enhances complexity and depth, resulting in a distinctive and expressive cup profile.
7. Ethiopia Tigst Boru Kochere – Washed
A standout lot that beautifully showcases the quality and character of an exceptional fully washed coffee from Kochere. Clean and expressive, this coffee delivers gentle stone fruit sweetness with a smooth chocolate finish.
