Great Taste Award Winner 2025!
Driven by the exceptional quality of their coffees, producers across 15 cities joined forces to invest in a Geographic Indication project. Led and managed by Professor João B. Pavesio, the initiative is designed to promote and enrich the region’s coffee heritage.
With altitudes ranging from 600 to 1,500 metres, the surrounding mountains create a unique “terroir belt” where coffee plants flourish in ideal conditions. Overlooking the region is Pico da Bandeira – one of Brazil’s highest peaks at 2,892 metres – along with five other towering summits within Caparaó National Park, all serving as guardians of this special coffee-growing area.
This particular lot is decaffeinated using the sugarcane E.A. (ethyl acetate) method, preserving its flavour while naturally removing caffeine.
Please note: If purchasing coffee beans only, the minimum order quantity is 2 bags. You are more than welcome to order a single bag if the total order value is £30 or greater.
