Sanremo's Naming Convention Explained (Evo, Pro, Sense)
Each Sanremo (Fiorenzato) grinder name reflects its technology:
- EVO grinders feature a climate control system with an automatically activated cooling fan to protect beans from overheating.
- PRO means there is a detachable grinding chamber (quick-release mechanism). This innovation allows access to the grinding chamber simply flipping up the two clips situated either side of the coffee grinder and extract the desired component without losing the grinding point.
- SENSE refers to grind-by-weight dosing technology, which uses an integrated scale to automatically and precisely measure the exact weight of coffee grounds dispensed into a portafilter in real-time.
